Xperia Stock Keyboard For S / Arc / Arc S / Play

You can download the stock Xperia S which is same as any other Xperia keyboard but well themed by sony, the buttons looks clean and realistic with shadow and everything.

it works on both gingerbread and ice cream sandwich roms, stock, CM, MIUI and others, if not please comment on this page with your rom and android version.

works on almost any android device, swipe might not work on some devices but normal typing will do.
install like any regular APK you don't need root for this.

Cyanogenmod 9 ICS Xperia Play

Cyanogenmod 9 is an Ice Cream Sandwich based rom for Xperia play and other Xperias, but for the play it have the stock apps like the Get games app, the game launcher and touchpads working. (for some people not)
the rom is developed by team FreeXperia and runs on FreeXperia custom kernel, thanks for the effort and frequent update.
this will defiantly need an unlocked bootloader and for now it's for GSM no CDMA version yet, but check the date of this post, if you are reading this in the future then it might be a version for CDMA by now ;).
anyway I advice to check the original thread more often, and feel free to continue reading.

Xperia Play Flashtool Download

The final version Xperia flash tool that was designed originally for the X10 is working pretty good for the Xperia play, with the Flash tool you can flash company stock/original firmware FTF files or "Flash tool files", flash custom kernels, basband or recover your phone if it bricks.

Xperia Play firmware (4.0.2.A.0.62) Baseband 64

I just wanted to post this here for people looking for it, because I have been looking for so long and didn't find it.

many people are testing out ICS or Android 4 and it require you to flash something that have a Baseband 64 in order for some stuff to work like the wifi, also there is an improvement to the radio libraries.
There are FTF files or Flash Tool File - and you need the Flash tool here

minor bug fixes and memory management tweaks. word has it that it cant be rooted unless you flash a custom kernel or a kernel from an older firmware.

Cyanogenmod 9 ICS for Xperia play

Finally ice cream sandwich with almost everything working, Cyanogenmod9 is here for the Xperia play GSM only for now, it's based on the latest Android 4 ice cream sandwich, it's the most stable for now, a complete rebuild and have nothing to do with the leaked version from SE.

The only thing that's not working for now is the camera, but everything else is superb, as long as I know for now.
but you might encounter some trouble.
